1955 Chevrolet Rare 150 2-door Super Charged Custom Hot Rod

This is a brand new one of a kind 1955 Chevrolet Restor-o-rod Hot Rod. It was hand built from the frame up by Big Johnson's Speed Shop, one of Ohio 's finest Hot Rod Builders. It was created from a rare 55 Chevy 150.

This car came with no chrome originally. The body was removed and media blasted, while the frame was sand blasted and powder coated. Starting with the chasis, a Nova front end was fused to a mock 4 link rear end.

To power the chassis a small block Chevy 350 boared 60 over was employed. Built with a steal crank and dished pistons. This fabulous engine was topped off with Holley Aluminum Heads, a 144 Weiand Blower and Demon Carburetor. To get the power to the ground a beefed up Turbo 400 Transmission linked to a 3.5:1 Ford 9 inch rear end with 31 Spline Moser Axels and traction lock was used.

The body was lovingly massaged into this beautiful example of Chevrolet Craftsmanship. This 55 Chevy was coated in viper red, dark smoke factory tinted windows, with just the right amount of chrome to make this 55 shine. The interior has been appointed with two tone bucket seats, 8 ball shifter, billet dash trim and Nordskog Digital Gauges. The exhaust flows through two and a half inch stainless steel tubing and stainless steel FlowMaster Mufflers for power you can hear and feel!Shod with 17 inch torque thrust wheels and 4 wheel disc brakes.
